Racial Harmony Day.

Today is Racial Harmony Day Celebration Day for Kieran in School! 

 This is the day where we remind our children our success as a harmonious nation built on a rich diversity of cultures and heritages. As Singapore is a nation built by people from many races and cultures, living in harmony is therefore important and relevant to all Singaporeans.

They are encouraged to dress in the ethic costumes from different ethic groups, which allows them to be aware about the differences in the costumes from different ethnic groups.

 hmm. I couldn't take a better picture of him. Kept moving about. This is the best. HAHAHA.

Was told that little kids’ from K2 will put up a dance performance for their peers to enjoy in the music room. Makes me so curious what was Kieran response or reaction while watching the performance, I hope he enjoys it!

Today is also the arrival of our helper named Gloria, was kind of expectating someone much taller than me, (because I am already a shortie!) but she actually look petite as well, pleasant looking. Erm.. can't comment much on her first day of work, of course she abides to every single instructions given. Couple of things I felt thankful about, 1.she can speak and understand English, which was quite rare for a Myanmar maid and first time working as maid without any experiences.

 2.Kieran seems to click with her well, saw them playing happily after dinner's time. Thank God. Hope she can adapt to our family soon and be of great help to us. =)

A tribute to Daddy.

Before I begin my tribute, I would like to first blog about my lunch date with Madelyn and one of her gfs for lunch at ION. 

( oh dear I couldn't recall her name! I think what they said about pregnancy brain is true! )

Because I love the food there. I will be back for more.

I've always wanted to try something different on the menu, but I still ended up with cookies and cream. Honestly speaking. this is by far the best cookies and cream I ever tasted.  The aroma is simply addictive! No Joke.

 even when I'm feeling a little too full. These cupcakes certainly makes me want to have more! Red velvet, must try. Its their signature. Forgotten the name of the other one. Its chocolatey yet not overly sweet. I love the texture of their cupcakes. Very moist and the sweetness is just nice!

Celebrated Father's day in advance to avoid the crowd. Daddy suggested we go to a newly opened coffee shop for "zi Char" the food there was great too! @ Woodlands drive 50 Blk 892C.

I really thank God for giving us such a wonderful daddy, sometimes I wonder what have I done to deserved such a good dad.

I always said "I'm not a rich man daughter" but the fact that i'm not is because my dad gave his all to us. He provided us with not only our needs but he even spoiled us with our wants. How can he possibly be rich when he spent every single of his penny on us?!

So hows everyone recovering from the fun of Easter holiday? I hope you guys spent it well with your love ones and had loads of fun. We spent ours at home since baby Kieran is only home whole day on weekend.

Early morning we received a goodie bag of LOVES from London!

my dearie kf bought couple tee for baby Kieran and mommy in her fav pink! and not forgetting meimei! Her first present and Jacket. Look how sweet it is! love those pretty flower prints. Cant wait to fit my baby into it!

During evening May dropped by to visit me and baby Kieran, she also stayed for dinner and play with him for awhile, we enjoyed her accompany that evening, and Kieran of course fun till he knock out feel all tired from those play and laughters.

My first time baking sweet potatos on a cold night. Daddy henry said sweet potato make people fart a

lot, he does.. but not for me. Do you think so? Or maybe it's just HIM?! haha.

My first attempt of Nutella marble cake. It may looks okay on pictures but trust me we don't like it! it is super flat, never raise at all. I don't know what went wrong!!!

Second batch of banana cakes, I prefer this batch. the fragrance of the bananas are stronger. I added more banananananas!

Yet another tear-less day for Kieran, with the same little trick! (pass a packet of cookie to the teacher...) I wonder how long this trick can last! I don't know if it's a good thing, on one hand Kieran is easily tricked by using food/snacks. On the other it makes things easier for us. 

Gotta watch out for him more. In case A kidnapper lure my boy away from me with candies and cookies.

I always ended up super full.

 5th April 2012 Thursday

our eve of Good Friday! after sending our little rascal to school, head to JB to replenish petrol to daddy's "thirsty" car.

guess how much our lunch cost in total? two set meals plus mushroom soup.

Total of less than $12?! CHEAP CHEAPPP! so in love with JB nice and CHEAP foodies, oh, also with promo price!

Little Kieran 1st goodie bag from his Babies Kingdom's classmates! one of the babies Falisha's Birthday! 

kept pestering me to open the bag for him, but i refused to, lately all those snacks that he dropped on the car  is attracting the roaches! we have to place pest trap to trapped those little monsters.

throwing tantrums again. "if you don't open iI don't stand up, I shall sit here till you open for me.."

of cause i LOST again!!! eating and walking his way back home. 

4th April 2012 Wednesday

 Today is the first day Kieran wave goodbye to us as we bid him goodbye when we left!!! OMG I was so happy that he finally adapt to this place but i hope it's not just for today! I was thinking maybe there's balloons on the floor? he love balloons.

Morning before his school.. nothing better to do after breakfast. playing with the spoon. He feel proud that he can do this "little trick" of his. He will walked around showing everyone in the house trying to tell us, "look! i can do this!"(holding the spoon using his mouth and sometimes with his hand raised up.)

Or he will hold his milk bottles or whatever manageable small items.. He thought only he can do it! muahahahha!

fell asleep while watching tv and eating his snacks. Still munching the last biscuit with eyes shut.

I find it extremely cute when babies fell asleep while eating! Maybe because that doesn't happen to grown ups.
